10 an hour 6 days ago 6 days ago 6 days ago We are looking for a Morning Care Coordinator who is passionate about improving the lives of children and families.
The right candidate will support the mission of the Starke County Youth Club and create positive opportunities for members and families, and display enthusiasm for the learning process and out-of-school time programming.
Coordinate all aspects of program at individual site to provide a balanced offering of activities and experiences for members.
Assure alignment to organizational goals.
Plan, implement, supervise, and evaluate activities and staff within core program areas.
Maintain an inviting, safe, orderly environment.
Resolve program issues within policy and program guidelines.
Create a monthly and daily calendar of activities for members, families, school personnel, and staff.
Maintain accurate accounting and recording of staff, volunteers, and members in attendance with standardized forms (time cards and sign in / sign out sheets).
Schedule staff and volunteers through approved means.
Supervise and evaluate staff members, including volunteers, for safety, quality of service, and adherence to SCYC procedures and policies.
Identify staff needs and implement professional development plans.
Establish and implement behavioral expectations as established by the discipline policy and communicate them to members and families.
Establish and maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Implement and enforce safety policies and emergency procedures regarding member safety, risk management, and site security.
Acquire and monitor necessary supplies to maintain program, conducting an annual inventory.
Maintain and work within a provided budget, keeping accurate financial records, including receipts.
